Living the In-Between

Hey Reader,

Hope you're having a good week.

There are a few mini-transitions happening in my own life right now — as I finish Circle Facilitation training and begin Wyrtcraft Level 2 with The Green Arte.

(If you're drawn to plant-spirit-angled herbalism, Josh is an incredible teacher for deepening relationship with plants through both modern understanding and older ways of knowing.)

At the moment, I’ve run the workshop Finding Your Footing After a Life Transition a couple of times live online. Personally, I’ve found it really useful to step back and reflect on where I am — and to orient myself consciously instead of just drifting through the season.

Winter felt very liminal this year. And interestingly, it seemed to move faster for me.

The more I leaned into accepting the phase I was actually in, the more resistance softened.

Instead of fighting the in-between, I allowed it. And from there, life began to feel less forced.

Less “I should be further along.”
Less “I need to fix this.”

More flow.

Now we’re moving toward Spring - the garden is already showing signs of new life.

That feels symbolic of this stage too — integration, rebuilding, and trying things on without clinging to outdated expectations of who we think we need to be.

I’ve had to consciously drop old self-imposed standards that no longer fit. Release the invisible pressure to earn permission. Let go of the endless internal “shoulds”.

And instead — lean into what feels aligned right now, not what was aligned before or what might be aligned later.

For me, this shift has been about trusting that clarity doesn’t come from sitting down and overthinking.

It emerges while living.

The body carries wisdom.
It reveals direction gently — if we slow down enough to listen.

That’s the orientation I’m choosing to work from in this season.

Big love,
Sarah

Wild Rose Path

For women who have been through something that changed everything — and are now ready to start building what comes next, but can't quite make themselves begin. Wild Rose Path is a place for finding your footing after a life transition — the self-doubt, the fear of being seen, the isolation of being mid-between, and the slow work of starting anyway. Through seasonal rhythm, plant wisdom, and the company of other women doing the same. If you're standing at the edge of something new, not quite ready but almost — you're in the right place.
