For the ones who can see the life they want but can't yet find the path to it. For the woman who suspects the way back to herself might be through something older and slower and closer to the earth than anything she's tried so far. It gets harder before it gets better

Hey Reader,
For those of you into astrology - it's being a bit of a week. I'm slowly starting to feel that Mars in Aries energy...could it be that things we're invested in are starting to move, to happen? Or do we all need to go and hide under a collective duvet?!
To me, it feels like a bit of both.
I'm working my way through explaining each stage of the Wild Rose life transition spiral over on YouTube, and this week it's all about the bit where it gets harder before it gets better. Not what we really want to hear I know, but it is a part of the process, it doesn't mean you're broken, and it will not be forever, I promise!!
Yep, it's the Descent - the bit where the life or the identity you were once so familiar with goes and pretty much burns down to the ground.
This is the part where emotions are probably at their strongest - particularly grief. We're usually dealing with a lot of fear too, because we are now moving into unknown territory. And that can cause us to try and get 'back to how things were'.
I don't think thats a wrong move, I think it's a very human one.
I still need this on a spiral diagram rather than a circle...
But from next week, we'll cover the parts that maybe feel a bit more positive... starting with the Threshold. An equally exciting, potential-filled, and sometimes overwhelming place to be. And something I've crossed myself more than once - sometimes at breakneck speed and sometimes shuffling around either side of it!
As ever, if you want to go deeper into exploring each stage and orienting yourself to where you're currently at, check out the free workshop 'Finding Your Footing After A Life Transition'.
Whatever this week is bringing up for you - I hope the videos help it make a little more sense.
Big love, Sarah
PS: yesterday I sent something a little different. If you're at the point where you know what's calling you but can't quite make it real, hit reply and let's have a conversation.
Follow the Path
The Orientation
If you're in the thick of a life transition and could do with seeing the shape of the path beneath your feet, my free workshop - Finding Your Footing Through a Life Transition - is a good place to start. You can find out more and access it here.
The Witnessing
If you need something more personal — write to me. Hit reply and tell me a little about where you are: what's ended, what you're carrying, what's pulling at you. I'll write back, and if it feels right I'll suggest a plant ally or two that belong with where you are right now. I read every reply and I'm always glad to hear from you. Or if you'd rather talk book a tea & chat and we can explore it together over Zoom.
