Wild Rose Path

A map for the messy middle

Hey Reader,

How's your week going? It's the last few days before the holidays here, I want to just take off up the fell but there are All The Things to do. I've noticed more than ever that if I don't find ways to regulate my own nervous system, it affects not only myself, but also the kids. And so that's the priority right now - climbing the fell is lovely to blow off some steam, but for me, swimming lengths at a bumbling pace for half an hour just chills me out, gets me out of my head.

Regulation, steadiness, finding the ground under your feet (or not, if you're in the pool...) - these are like the places to return to when you've been thrown about by a life in flux.

This week's YouTube video might help with exactly that... a map of why transitions feel so messy and disorienting, and why that's not a sign you're doing it wrong (I promise there is some coffee left in that mug).

The Wild Rose Spiral is a framework that I've developed through my own experience of navigating change (many times!), a map of the six stages of transition, and why understanding them can help orient you and shift how you hold what you're going through.

If you're in the messy middle of something right now, this one's for you.

Big love,
Sarah

Wild Rose Path

For women who have been through something that changed everything — and are now ready to start building what comes next, but can't quite make themselves begin. Wild Rose Path is a place for finding your footing after a life transition — the self-doubt, the fear of being seen, the isolation of being mid-between, and the slow work of starting anyway. Through seasonal rhythm, plant wisdom, and the company of other women doing the same. If you're standing at the edge of something new, not quite ready but almost — you're in the right place.
